Capacité is a family owned facility that strives to provide reliable and consistent care for children living with disabilities or special needs that have unique care requirements.

Capacité sought to modernize its current process by transitioning from traditional paper forms and documents to a web-based application. The new platform was intended to streamline daily operations such as patient charting, billing, Medicaid recertification, and nurse clock-in, while also accommodating the addition of more facilities as the company grows.
To address this challenge, I collaborated closely with the Design Director and Product Owner. We conducted a thorough audit of the various workflows, pinpointing unnecessary, cumbersome, and repetitive steps, and subsequently made several recommendations. We then created storyboards for each of the 13 processes, emphasizing simplicity and user experience. Following this, I worked on wireframes. Given the project's considerable scale, I utilized a template library to streamline the process. We held regular meetings with the stakeholders to review progress and gather feedback. After several iterations, I finalized the full-color designs, which were then tested for usability and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
