Neatleaf aimed to convert intricate real-time agricultural data into a user-friendly mobile application for its clients. The desired application would feature a dark mode and offer extensive customization options for information like greenhouse layouts, zones, growth patterns, light cycles, etc. Additionally, the company needed a website to highlight the features of its flagship product, the Spyder, along with functionality for web visitors to arrange demo calls and meetings. Finally, Neatleaf sought marketing materials for expos and trade shows in which it was participating.
In close collaboration with the leadership team, I helped define the core functionalities for the minimum viable product (MVP) and mapped out elements to be introduced in subsequent releases. I then teamed up with the Lead Developer to test and update all user flows. I also led a team of two designers in the creation of the website, exploring different design concepts before choosing a dark-themed layout that effectively highlights the technology and process. Additionally, I produced a series of illustrations of the Spyder. Finally, I liaised with a couple of print shops to create business cards, trade show backdrops, displays, and a range of promotional items for the company.
