Outpage is a secure messaging platform set up by the Pulaski County Medical Exchange in Little Rock, Arkansas － a fully automated and computerized information center that provides around-the-clock physician locator services to health professionals, patients, and the general public.

The Pulaski County Medical Exchange (PCME) sought to build a secure messaging platform that would integrate seamlessly with its current medical answering service. The application would allow healthcare professionals to view and manage patient messages with ease in a super-safe, HIPAA-compliant space.
I began this project by creating a storyboard and conducting a competitive analysis. I then built a set of wireframes for the application. I worked on six design flows as identified during the ideating process: welcome screens, onboarding, account setup, notification dashboard and messaging, settings, and login and forgot password. Following multiple iterations, I converted the wireframes into a high-fidelity interactive prototype for review and usability testing. I incorporated color schemes and typography from style tiles that were concurrently designed by a team member. Lastly, I generated the necessary assets for the app submission to Google Play and the App Store.
