SmartResume is a platform that integrates digitally verifiable credentials, enabling job seekers to present trusted data about their skills and qualifications to potential employers. The company allows educational institutions and professional organizations to certify the achievements, leadership experiences, and workforce skills of their students and members. These certifications are registered on a permissioned blockchain and presented on customized resumes, including links to digital attestations from trusted partners.

SmartResume sought to create two web applications — one for job seekers to initiate their job search and another for employers to uncover talent. The company also intended to establish a strong brand identity that would appeal to professionals, educational institutions, and corporations. Additionally, a website to showcase its products and provide online resources was considered in the final phase of the project.
Working closely with the Design Director, we developed the brand strategy and visual elements, conveying the idea of reaching for the stars through SmartResume, represented as a rocket ship. This concept led us to select a space-themed approach. My focus then turned to the design of the Job Seeker application. In collaboration with a UX researcher, I crafted user flows for essential processes such as onboarding, resume building, in-app messaging, company searches, and user preferences. Our team held regular design review sessions to ensure alignment with requirements and assess usability. I then transitioned to the Employer application, where I created a detailed dashboard and user flows for several features, including talent profiles and searches, resume views, and project management. Additionally, I developed a series of email templates featuring custom graphics and illustrations for the company's marketing initiatives, which were then implemented in HTML within a CRM platform. Lastly, I designed, coded, and animated the company’s website using Webflow.
