Voltage is a leading payments provider that offers instant and low-cost global settlement solutions for Bitcoin and stablecoins over the Lightning Network. As the longest-running infrastructure provider for the Lightning Network, Voltage serves exchanges, neo-banks, wallets, fintech innovators, and more, empowering them to build and scale high-performance financial solutions with enterprise-grade security and privacy standards.

Voltage aimed to update its existing guidelines to reflect the newly defined brand direction. The objective was to create a detailed reference document for both employees and external partners. In addition, the company sought to revamp its website to elevate the overall browsing experience and more effectively highlight the various platforms and services through captivating visuals, striking illustrations, and interactive elements.
My involvement in the project began right after the brand revisions and the initial round of wireframes. I partnered with the Design Director to finalize and compile the design guidelines. Afterward, I focused on creating style tiles for the website. Once these were approved, I updated the wireframes to hi-fi prototypes, which were then tested internally and with the client. Furthermore, I designed a series of illustrations and components, including larger visuals to highlight key sections and smaller ones to aid in content segmentation. These illustrations were animated using SVGator and subsequently incorporated into the guidelines.
